Yesterday Cravath had a super-friday where they brought in a ton of people and told them that although offers are normally made the same day as the call back, we wouldn't hear until early next week. Does anyone know if that was the truth, or did some people get extended offers friday?
I got an email later that night reminding me about the dinner they're having Monday. Good sign or did everyone else get that too?

I think the email for the dinner is only for callback students who live in NYC. There were quite a few candidates from out of town.
The story about no offers that day seems legit, though my lunch associates forgot to tell me. an associate i interviewed with later told me though.

Yes, all callbacks who can realistically make it to a dinner in NYC on Monday (NYC students). My point was that it has nothing to do with people who interviewed on Friday.

I got that much.. in reality i made that last post to tease out whether any out of towners got the email. I didn't get the email, but I am from out of town. It would've been easier to be direct, but my ego wouldn't let me subject myself to the possibility that the email meant something and therefore I was already dinged. I need to find better things to do...

From what they've said we should hear today either way, so I'd expect a call or email.

Offer from corp hiring partner at 4:30pm tonight. He said he tried to call me around noon but someone gave him the wrong number. He said all of the CLS offers from friday's callback were made already. I know that doesn't do much for non-cls kids, but its something.
