so far I've had several, including one today, where they didn't ask me for my writing sample, nor it was asked for his firm's pre-selection, though the guy told me expect a 2 1/2 weeks turn around time for a decision, I am thinking that's a ding?
regardless, when do they use your writing samples for their evaluation?
thx for your input

It's my understanding some firms never use them, but don't quote me. I think some may use them for borderline candidates. Others rely on them heavily. I really think it's just one of those "firm to firm" things.
Woops didn't mean this to be anon. Oh well.

so you saying it's possible for them to ask for it and use it during any step of the entire interviewing process? for example after one's call back, before they make their offer?Anonymous User wrote:Probably to gauge if you can write well.
