1L Summer URM Diversity Programs
I'm a black male at a T14 law school in NYC (Columbia/ NYU-don't want to specify). I know it's nearly impossible to get a paying 1L firm job for the summer, except through connections or diversity programs. I wanted to find out which NYC firms had 1L summer diversity programs. Any recommendations would be highly appreciated.

check career services. you wont have to worry about this until November(ish) since you cannot apply until Dec 1. I would suggest just focus on getting excellent grades

Thanks. I ask because I wanted to get a head start on some of the essays (if there are any for these programs) before the semester started. So does anyone know of any specific firms?
