Re: Official 3L OCI Results Thread
Not via OCI, but I have a callback with a firm I interviewed with. V10 firm.
I'm at CCN, top 1% transfer, secondary journal, worked for a different firm this summer. Callback firm would be a definite upgrade.
Edit: 3L OCI is going to be better than in previous years. Lots of firms underhired last year. Or that's the scuttlebutt, anyway.

Top 1% at your old school or CCN? Was your 2L firm big law?Anonymous User wrote:Not via OCI, but I have a callback with a firm I interviewed with. V10 firm.

Top 1% at both old school and CCN. Yes, 2L was big law.Anonymous User wrote:Top 1% at your old school or CCN? Was your 2L firm big law?Anonymous User wrote:Not via OCI, but I have a callback with a firm I interviewed with. V10 firm.

Somewhat off-topic from the OP, but what range was your 1L school? Were certain firms openly more welcoming towards transfers than others during your 2L OCI? If so, which ones? What, in your opinion, is the ideal vault range on which we should be focusing our fire during 2L OCI (since you were successful last year) assuming top 1% tier 1 > CCN transfer stats? Interested in nyc lit. tyiaAnonymous User wrote:Top 1% at both old school and CCN. Yes, 2L was big law.Anonymous User wrote:Top 1% at your old school or CCN? Re: Official 3L OCI Results Thread
Any 3L's interviewing during OCI that have already been extended offers from their summer firms? Just curious how to discuss this with the firms I'll be interviewing with during OCI. I was already locked into interviews since summer firm didn't extend offers until after the final drop date for OCI, but they are firms I would strongly consider over my current offer (and I would much prefer the OCI firms' geographic location).
For a frame of reference for 3Ls doing OCI at other schools and wondering what the landscape looks like: T6 school, just a shade over 40 employers, Lots of gov't employers, firms mostly hiring for corporate and IP, couple consulting companies. Not a whole lot of action in 3L OCI.

Struck out at OCI, but have a couple clerkship interviews. If I pull through, I will have to do this sh!t all over again next year.
