If money and time, the only two real issues, aren't issues for you...

Do it. I've flown across the country for less compelling reasons

Two partners are family friends who would have dinner, and you can't drum up anymore screening interviews to make the trip worth it?

Is this firm a good target for you? Good chance you'll get a callback? Is a well paying job worth a couple hundred dollars to you?
These are the questions you should be asking yourself.

The only negatives i could come up with are money and time. You said yourself that neither are of concern. So what exactly is stopping you, laziness?

No, my internship ended last week, OCI bids are already in too. Nothing pressing until school starts. I was maybe planning to start my direct-mail campaign. Sure, I guess it comes down to laziness.dresden doll wrote:This. Just because I have the time and money doesn't mean it's not wasteful.

Impossible. Your transfer from Southwestern to Loyola is going to open up a cornucopia of opportunities. It will be like a swift strike to the exposed shell of a fresh egg - the delicious golden yolk of riches and professional satisfaction will burst forth and envelop you in its warm glow.Danteshek wrote:Exellent. Love it. As I read this I just hear this deep, booming voice imparting vast untold wisdom. Even better because I think I took part in that "Should I transfer thread."disco_barred wrote:Impossible. There are at least two other SW people transferring to Loyola with me.
