A thread for transfer anecdotes from OCIs past and (hopefully not) OCIs very-soon-to-be present. What did you end up doing 2L summer? And how did you get that job?

Top 5% at T2 school to CCN, struck out during OCI. Ended up taking an unpaid internship. Even the unpaid internship was fairly difficult to secure.

Oh man. That is tough. I am fairly happy with my decision re: deciding to stay put. Well, until I strike out at OCI, of course. :|

Which ccn? (beauty of anonymous feature). Looking back, do you think you struck out because of poor interviewing skills? Poor prior WE? Because firms scoffed at your T2? Some combination of all of the above? Finally, how did you get the unpaid internship?
