So we get 50 bids, but supposedly only an average of 10 interviews. Since it's based purely on lottery, should we even worry about the bids after, say, 20?
My spouse and I would be happy in Texas, Atlanta, Minneapolis, or DC. Should I bid with the the secondary market firms (the easier ones to get interviews) spread throughout the 50 and put the DC firms sprinkled among them? Or should I just chalk up the DC firms and pound the secondary markets (or maybe just one) in those top 20 or so and then just randomly throw firms in after that?
Would appreciate any help you have.

Re: GULC Secondary Market Bid Strategy
Thanks for the info. I saw your post from last year about only getting 10 interviews, and that made me seriously doubt my bidding strategy, so I made this post. Luckily, I have ties to those markets, so I'm just worried about maximizing interviews. Problem is, many firms in those markets are interviewing for dc/ny in the same slot, so it gets hammered.
Here's the list I had before I started doubting (generally... the numbers I put in based on 'feel' and then sorted, so there are duplicates). Any other thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
