Hmm, don't really know what to tell you... This is a hard choice, probably why not a lot of people have thrown their hat in the ring.

This is an easy call. You have a strong shot at local midlaw with your current school and rank. I know this because I was a 1L SA in one of the markets you mention (Pitt/Cinci/Cleveland) and had several fellow SAs from the local school with roughly your credentials. Other firms in the city seemed to as well. If you have $$ from your current school, this becomes an even easier decision.

WUSTL will not get you a firm job out of OCI as a transfer. Hell, an overwhelming % of WUSTL students who are not transfers aren't going to get firm jobs. Since transfers tend to struggle compared w/non-transfers in most (though surely not all) cases, you'd be trading a strong bet for a bad one if you went to WUSTL.
