Since you said top 20 (and not top 14) I'll assume you are UCLA, Texas, Vandy, USC, WUSTL or GW.

If you are at the DC school, I would think with your numbers you have a shot at any DC firm on your list.

That said, Milbank, White and Case and Wiley would be a stretch- at least based on pure numbers.

But Top 15% & LR, I'd say they are all worth a shot. Although the farther you venture out of DC, the farther your chances drop.

op here. thoughts on replacing competitive firms with relatively large summer classes (latham, white case etc.) with less competitive firms with smaller summer classes (hunton williams, drinker biddle) etc. if my ultimate goal is just to have a SA position.

thanks

What are you looking for? If you're EE, are you looking to do patent prosecution or patent litigation?

dood - are you bidding on firms that you're interviewing with in loyola? i excluded most of the ones i'm already interviewing with in loyola... also - im pretty sure we know each other. haha - first time bumping into someone im pretty sure i know in RL on tls...

not sure about lit or pros... didn't put the ip boutiques because i only have a b.s. and no work experience... seems like those places require one or another.

im not bidding the ones i have interviews with. i just think its too wierd to tell a firm's office in SF that im really into SF, cali etc - then turn around and tell the same firm's office in DC the same thing. i know a lot of offices are independant and won't talk - but just seems wierd to me.

DID WE JUST GET OFF GCHAT OR FACEBOOK? (with me telling u i have to go write cover letters?) yeah so this is me writing cover letters, LOL.

haha no... that wasnt me.
