URM, below median @ T1

What can I expect at OCI?

Black male with about a B- average at a T1. No journal or moot court. Clinical experience this summer.

Assuming T1 means, roughly speaking, T50 through T25 (since otherwise you likely would have said T25, T20, or T14) you should not expect anything from OCI, and should begin considering alternative job hunting strategies.

That's not to say that it isn't worth trying, but it isn't likely to be successful.

What are you curved at? A B- is about a 2.7 which is rough if you're curved at a 3.0 and rougher if you're at a 3.3. I'd say give OCI your full effort because I've known cases where a 2.8-2.9 wasn't a biglaw death sentence. It's definitely not good though.

Yeah, I'm kinda stuck in the same predicament. URM/Hispanic with shit grades and no journal experience.
I will work all my connections for Summer 2011, which means that I can't be pissing people off like I usually do. It's going to be a shit year.

Bump

Was hoping there is input for me as well.

Hispanic rising 2L at T35 with 3.07 (B Curve), which places me around Top 55%. I have an editorial position on a secondary journal, moot court and will be participating in a Criminal Appeals clinic 2L year.

What are my prospects at OCI/Minority Job Fairs/Mass Mailing?

Thx

Do the job fairs. Most that I am aware of already had sign ups though. if there are any you can still sign up for I would highly recommend you try it.
