Typo in cover letter

Post by Anonymous User » Tue Jul 13, 2010 12:57 pm

I proofread all my materials 100x but still had a small typo in my cover letter for one firm for OCI. There is a missing "an" - it's hard to pick up but noticeable if you look really hard.

OCI bidding is closed now so I can't change the document. Should I go outside the channels of OCI to swap the cover letters or just hope they don't notice?

That's tough, but I would suggest asking your career services office what to do.

Do not draw attention to it. If you do nothing there's a 75 percent chance it won't get noticed; if you "fix" it there's a 100 percent chance it will get noticed.
