I'm starting school in Georgia this fall and just wondering if anybody could give me any insight into the Atlanta legal market.
In corporate, what are the best outhouse firms?
What are known as the big/best firms in Atlanta in general?
Are there any particularly prestigious lawyers in Atlanta who would be considered preferable to intern with?
Any thing else I should know about jobs down there?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Atlanta
I wonder who the best lawyer in the Decatur area is...? And thank you yellowjacket, those are a great start for biglaw firms. There is a definite possibility I will be sending my resume to those.

Re: Atlanta
those firms are all alive and non-merged. (i go to school in atlanta.) also check out paul hastings, sutherland, arnold golden gregory, bondurant, and mckenna. K&S and A&B are king in Atlanta, but both firms are hurting badly right now. Still, top of the class at Georgia is traditionally on route to K&S.yellowjacket2012 wrote:troutman sanders, jones day, kilpatrick stockton, alston bird, king and spalding..
