Spending a lot of money on an undergraduate degree could be a bad investment? That's certainly news to me.

For the TL;DR folks:

College was always thought to be a sufficient condition for a decent living in this age. In this exclusive study you will find that in fact college is much closer to a necessary condition for such a living.

Also, professional degrees seem to be some kind of "advantage" for attaining wealth?
