oci and working during 2L year

Post by Anonymous User » Thu Jun 24, 2010 10:41 am

in regards to emailing firms for the 2L summer, would it be a good idea to let them know that you would also be available to work during either/both 2L and 3L year? I'm thinking that since I'm targeting smaller firms without established summer associates programs like big firms have, they may look kindly on the fact that I'm willing to work as soon as possible. Any thoughts or experiences are helpful, thanks.

Can't hurt, might help is my opinion on this. I can't see it damaging your application to say you're willing to put in part time while you go to school...
