3L OCI, DRAMATIC JUMP IN 2L GRADES -- Top DE offer in hand
So, let's say hypothetically you're at a lower T7-14 school on the east coast, and at a top DE firm for 2L summer. Median-ish (~3.3) grades during 1L, 3.8ish gpa during 2L, in a very corporate-focused class schedule. Let's say that; 1) on a professional level, you wish you did more transactional work as opposed advising other law firms on the DE fiduciary matters of deals primarily run by those other firms; and that, 2) your serious boyfriend (also a 2L at said T14) is at a firm he absolutely loves in San Francisco.
Chances that the doors at decent firms will be open to someone with my story during 3L OCI? Chances the BF could get something in Wilmington or Philly?

Actually it does exist. It is just very downsized.

+1. This dude has a bird in hand... he shouldn't be radically altering his game plan if he can get a job at the firm he loves.asealclubber wrote:why would your bf be the one to move?
