Talent Agencies - Lawyers
Do talent agencies (CAA, WME, etc.) actually have lawyers that work for the company, or do they outsource their legal questions/concerns to law firms?

Really? Could you PM me anymore info you have on this?thesealocust wrote:Lots of them! They do on campus interviewing at most tier 1 schools. Starting salary is only 6 figures, but between the perks (parties, transportation, etc.) and the connections you get from the significant face time, some people are willing to give it a shot instead of biglaw.

thesealocust wrote:Yeah it's great! There are a few dozen, and they fly around the country doing interview season and snap people up. OCI isn't just big law firms you know - there's also talent agencies, government agencies, etc. The recruitment isn't quite as lavish as big law but I know a ton of people who do it. Pretty good hours, lots of security and chance for improvement, etc. After 3-4 years of experience a bunch of my buddies lateraled over to international human rights law firms.
Why Human rights law? Or are you joking around, can't pick up on it lol.
