Icing your bro inappropriate office behavior?
I wouldn't think so. Maybe give the old partners a warning, but otherwise game on. Discuss.

I've been out of school for a while, and away from frat culture. Is this something that people actually do? Its funny to see it randomly, once, on the internet, for sure. But am I going to actually have to witness this say, more than two or three times?

You're absolutely right. An article in Forbes recently explained why icing is an extremely stupid career move.Mr. Pablo wrote:I've been out of school for a while, and away from frat culture. I wouldn't recommend it. I tried it during an interview at OGI and wasn't invited to a callback with that firm

I guess I was trying to figure out if this is really that popular. Also, to answer the topic question, I bet that it would be dumb to do this in an office if it hadn't been done by more senior, firmly entrenched, employees.

I would imagine anything involving alcoholic beverages during business hours is generally frowned upon. Unless your boss is Don Draper, then icing would never be tolerated.

I work at the company that owns Smirnoff, among other things, and nearly every desk and office is decorated with alcohol hand outs. Smirnoff Ice (and the new Smirnoff flavored lemonades) are among the most popular desk decorations (of course).
You can't ice anyone in this office. Well, not without having to drink a warm and possibly years old ice anyway.

Solution: Substitute Smirnoff Ice with ... gallon of milk. That would be way more fun.happy187 wrote:I would imagine anything involving alcoholic beverages during business hours is generally frowned upon. Unless your boss is Don Draper, then icing would never be tolerated.

My former workplace (lifeguards at a public pool, bunch of kids) actually does this every year. Between the ages of 15-19, I would without fail boot a gallon of milk every summer.ozarkhack wrote:Solution: Substitute Smirnoff Ice with ... gallon of milk. I have never even heard of this, but it sounds awesome. If this fad had hit my school, I can think of one fraternity brother of mine who would have "iced" about 6 people a day.

This is relatively new. Unfortunately, it hit my campus with about a week left of my undergrad career.romothesavior wrote:I have never even heard of this, but it sounds awesome. If this fad had hit my school, I can think of one fraternity brother of mine who would have "iced" about 6 people a day.

That guy in pic has a Miami of Ohio Redhawks shirt on.
It has to be him or one of his bro's.
No one outside of blOhio would wear Redhawks branded anything (save Hobos that get free clothes from the local church).
p.s. the MAC blows it like the guy in this picture, life vomit on your shirt.

I've never seen someone so venomous towards sub-par states and sub-par sports conferences. Bravo.OnWisconsin wrote:TheBigMediocre wrote:I plead the fifth.rad law wrote:
