Yes. Considering the local offer rate was significantly higher as well, I am happy with the odds. Don't want to kill my karma though.

Judging from the number of job postings here (http://www.culturalheritagelaw.org) divided by the number of people who are actually qualified for such jobs, e.g., JD + PhD, I'll probably find a position.

Well, I just heard from a former professor (my recommender) at my alma mater. He could apparently get me an interesting job in my former field if this law thing doesn't work out. I would even get to use spreadsheets.
