So I accepted a judicial internship in January. I emailed the judge today to tweak my starting date by 3 days or so. He emails back that that's cool, but that "I should know" that he will be gone 4 of my 8 weeks.
Is this common? Not sure I would have accepted (and turned down offers from higher courts) had he been up front about this. Kinda pissed.
