Has anyone heard back from Haynes and Boone regarding Fast Track for Dallas this summer? (Anonymous b/c it's a pretty small applicant pool at my school).

hayboo is all about fit. grade demands arent too demanding, esp since most 1Ls wont ever return to the firm...

Re: HayBoo Fast Track
OP here. The people I've met from the firm seem really great. Does anyone have any insight as to the dynamic in the various TX offices? Is there much of a difference? I know most offices work together on large cases, so maybe that decreases any distinction...

A couple people at my school have gotten offers for Fast Track. I think they got them awhile ago.

Re: HayBoo Fast Track
Last year's Fast Track offers went out in late March. At least from UVA, HayBoo wanted top grades even if offers ended up going to those with weaker regional ties. I don't know anything about this year's.
If you do receive an offer, I strongly recommend accepting it. Haynes & Boone (and their Dallas office in particular) has all the hallmarks of an outstanding firm: solid financials, interesting work, and great people. I hated turning down the offer to return, but a great many Fast Trackers accepted and will be back this summer.

Re: HayBoo Fast Track
Anyone got an e-mail from Haynes and Boone to keep them updated during summer in terms of grades/jobs for possible early interview (before traditional 2L OCI) for 2L summer job?

Applicants should here back late in this coming week, or early the following week (from a reliable source)

Re: HayBoo Fast Track
I don't know if they plan to make more offers, but I, along with several others at my school, accepted an offer toward the end of February. So, while it's impossible for an outsider to be sure, I doubt more offers are going out (unless they couldn't fill the class in round 1).Anonymous User wrote:Applicants should here back late in this coming week, or early the following week (from a reliable source)

Re: HayBoo Fast Track
I was actually among a group of students who were interviewed for Fast Track in late March, so I guess they're doing rolling acceptances or something... either that, or they just like jerking students around.
