2L Summer Associate Programs
Because the ATL thread did not sate my curiosity at all, I'm wondering how others' 2L summer associate programs are looking.
My firm cut its summer associate class size by about 40%, and while last year's SAs came from a variety of different schools (lots of T1 along with T14ers), almost everyone this year is from a T14, with the exception of 2-3 people from local T1/T2 law schools.
I still have no salary information. My firm cut pay from market to 145k prorated for its SAs last year, though, so I'm not optimistic.
I also have a friend who hasn't heard anything from his firm since he accepted the offer. Is anyone else in that boat?

Just got offered a 1L summer Associate position at a V50 in NYC....they cut the weeks by 2 from last year, and cut the 1Ls and 2Ls they took on in half but said salary (for 1Ls and 2Ls) will stay at 160k (1st associate salary) prorated, so around $3,080 a week i guess.

Is it safe to assume that you are T14?Anonymous User wrote:Just got offered a 1L summer Associate position at a V50 in NYC....they cut the weeks by 2 from last year, and cut the 1Ls and 2Ls they took on in half but said salary (for 1Ls and 2Ls) will stay at 160k (1st associate salary) prorated, so around $3,080 a week i guess.

Okay, 2L summer employment thread shows there are more people on here that have firm jobs than this...I feel a bump is justified.

V25, 11 weeks, no salary info but I assume it's the prorated 160k.
