NYC vs DC markets
So I'm kind of undecided as to whether I want to work in NYC or DC, what are some of the differences in terms of types of law practiced/firm make-up and atmosphere/COL/general environment that I should be taking into account when making a decision?

Re: NYC vs DC markets
The biggest thing is that DC is really the hub for litigation jobs, while NYC is the hub for transactional ones. If you want transactional work NYC is your dream location, if you want litigation work (or government) DC is.
