Searching for in-house legal summer internships?
Is there some simple way of searching for companies that have a legal summer internship that doesn't consist of just going blindly to random company websites and searching their job postings? ... I went to OCS here and they showed me some book which has a ton of companies listed by state that have an in-house legal department, but it not really very helpful at all because I would have to call everywhere to just try and figure out whether they will have a summer program this year.

Does your Career Services office have a listing of all the places students worked last year? Mine does, so I was able to scan the list and see what companies hired 1Ls and 2Ls last year.

I've just made up my mind not to answer any more anonymous threads that don't clearly contain incriminating/identifying information (e.g. school or specific firm/employer name).

But maybe someone from OP's OCS would read the thread, remember that they showed her the book, and connect the dots.Renzo wrote:I've just made up my mind not to answer any more anonymous threads that don't clearly contain incriminating/identifying information (e.g. school or specific firm/employer name).

There couldn't possibly be two students in America getting help with an in-house gig from OCS.LjakW wrote:But maybe someone from OP's OCS would read the thread, remember that they showed her the book, and connect the dots.Renzo wrote:I've just made up my mind not to answer any more anonymous threads that don't clearly contain incriminating/identifying information (e.g. school or specific firm/employer name).
