For 1L's who have interviewed with firms over break: how long before you received an offer or rejection? I'll post my info anonymously ITT eventually. If a firm said explicitly that they would want grades before making a decision, then please note that in your response.
Current 2L & 3L's please feel free to contribute if you have experience w/this from your 1L year (not 2L OCI, since that's probably a whole different ball game).
Thanks!

Chances are you will get a rejection postmarked the same day as your interview.
Seriously though, it varies. Big firms are usually pretty quick and if not then maybe they are actually considering hiring you.

Encouraging. Thanks. Although it's only been a couple days so my rejection(s) may still be in transit.bigben wrote:Chances are you will get a rejection postmarked the same day as your interview.

But if they asked for grades then they will probably wait for that.

They didn't at the interviews. I know one of them decides whether or not to wait for grades based on the results of the interview. Or at least that's how they did it a few years ago.bigben wrote:But if they asked for grades then they will probably wait for that.
