I know multiple people just sitting on offers right now which is frustrating for all of us on waitlists

On behalf of everyone like me with silence from 5+ firms and no offers yet... PLEASE don't sit on offers you have no intention of taking. PLEASE try to make your ultimate decision between your top choices soon rather than later.

Yeah, both Chicago. I had my CB at K&L on 8/27 and received my offer on 9/3.

I had my CB at Katten on 9/1 and received my offer on 9/9. They are having an offer party next Wednesday, so I'm assuming they will have at least most of their offers out before then?

My offer came the night of my CB. I let the offer go though; best of luck!!

I did this a few years ago so more recent people can comment, but for me it was a very basic writing exercise (ie "explain this very basic issue to a client in client friendly language") to make sure you can talk like a normal person, and a panel behavioral interview ("tell us about a time when you had to creatively solve a problem" and such). I liked it. Pretty straightforward.

They ask you for a ton of different scenarios you've been in and you just need a bunch of different examples or you will sound/feel repetitive... Good luck!

If you need and offer anon, this sort of interview is one you can practice for effectively. Come up with like 10 good ancedotes (make them up if you have to). And then on teh fly adapt them to teh question.

yeah, maybe it's just because I did these kind of interviews for my pre-law job, but I found it easy. Have a bunch of anecdotes from previous jobs/school where you come out looking good and adapt as needed. So much easier to prepare for.
