Dpw summer here and I can confirm that in order to gain access to the summer associate bullpen you need to enter a client matter number, but if you’re not at your trough by 9:15am they put you on “summer staff attorney” track instead.

Milbank immediately raises to 190,020. Firms keep increasing by $1 until we get to 200.Anonymous User wrote:KE announces raises to $190,019 in order to be 1.0001x MILBANK and thus secure their position as above market comp

Also, I'm much happier with the new TLS where everyone is free to say what they want, even if they're obnoxious, rude, immature, or whatever. That's what makes an online board even semi-interesting. In any case, it's much better than the precious, self-congratulatory circle-jerk over on the new site who tone-police every post and ban anyone who doesn't toe the ideological party line or challenges their Overton window. I occasionally checked that site when it first started, it's pretty much a boring echo chamber of the same tired old posters, I'm guessing needy 3Ls or local gov lawyers who need a place where they can feel important. This? This is at least refreshing.

Re: NYC to 200k
Sure, but I'm not just talking about one thread. This thread in particular, given the subject matter, is going to be an outlier on both sites. I'm talking about generally. Anyway, you're entitled to your opinion and free to partake/ignore in the conversations you want/don't want. The virtue of TLS is you have that option. The other site...not so much. It's a self-satisfied content "curation" that resembles middle school more than adult discretion.Cary Grant wrote:I’ve read this thread and the content is pathetic. It doesn’t matter if you can be rude when TLS posters are total fucking morons.Anonymous User wrote:This:Cary Grant wrote:I can’t believe you dumbasses are still posting on this website.

Re: NYC to 200k
You can still post your silly, uninformed opinions about how S&C corp work is higher tier than Jones Day or something and therefore deserve to earn more money because its Vault rank is higher, it's just that you'll be made fun of for it.
Yeah you get banned for saying racial slurs and such I guess, so tbh if you enjoy being racist then TLS is the place for you :-/
