Time to change your username, perhaps?Unemployed wrote:I am top 10%. I actually have 15 callbacks and a V5 offer already. I am not posting anonymously because I have nothing to hide.
I give transfers props - they played a very dangerous game and they won. For the most part, they are a smart bunch who deserve every opportunity that they find through CLS. But:
1. Don't blame me for disliking self-righteous douchebags who have the gull to insult below-median students without having experienced the ridiculous competition that was the 1L year here; And
2. Clearly, the administration has nothing but utter contempt for us - I can't help but reciprocate.
Congrats, btw.

On a slightly unrelated note, is it true that Columbia gives us access to Vault's restricted areas in re: firm research? If so, can someone PM me the login information or instructions on how to set it up? Thanks!

Where from Symplicity can we read comments from past students who have worked at a particular firm? I can't seem to find it...

I think they used to be under the "Surveys" tab, but I can't find them there anymore either.Anonymous User wrote:Where from Symplicity can we read comments from past students who have worked at a particular firm? I can't seem to find it...

I can't remember exactly how I registered, but I think you just create an account at careerinsider.vault.com with your @columbia.edu e-mail address, and you automatically gain free access to the Vault guides for the legal industry (like best New York firms or Top 100). I haven't found it terribly helpful though, so you haven't missed out.

Same here. Used the surveys while bidding, but couldn't find it now. Can't understand why they would take it down during this CB period.Anonymous User wrote:I think they used to be under the "Surveys" tab, but I can't find them there anymore either.Anonymous User wrote:Where from Symplicity can we read comments from past students who have worked at a particular firm? Dear CLS Community: It is my pleasure to tell you this individual was permanently banned by another mod for trolling elsewhere on the site. Wishing transfers (some of my own former classmates among them) and native students the very best! (We have a few days to go, ourselves. Most of us won't have what you will have, but we remain hopeful, and it's been a positive experience so far!)Anonymous User wrote:

Bump on the Patton Boggs question - was it NJ/NY or DC?
Also, does anyone have awful, and I mean awful, grades and have callbacks?
