This just shows how lazy ATL editors are, they prefer an imgur link to the joy of reading through a mere 36 pages of incisive commentary.rpupkin wrote:This thread has featured months of insights, tips, and leaks. ATL's response? Deafening silence.
But then one poster trolls on Reddit, and ATL runs with it.

The most sickening thing to me is this anon COWARD decided to break the ATL story story in its own thread rather than report it right here where all the hard work has been done for months on endrpupkin wrote:This thread has featured months of insights, tips, and leaks. OP do NOT change subject line. P, W is still going to be first mover. The STB packet that shows the salary graphs on p. 28 is the latter part of a comps analysis. It is PURELY hypothetical. The earlier pages show the effect on RPL and PPP based on different scenarios of associate base salaries (and also includes scenarios for bonus growth, unchanged, or reductions).wert3813 wrote:We need op it change the title. The entire packet was distributed at a compensation committee meeting and was INFORMATIONAL only based on the behind-closed-doors meetings (led by P, W).
P, W is not V10. Although after they announce tomorrow, Vault may give them an honorary bump for 2016.Anonymous User wrote:Don't want to stoke the speculation, but I'm hearing a different V10 is planning to announce a pay raise tomorrow. Stay tuned!!!

LOL so PW and STB held a secret meeting to discuss associate compensation? Someone oughta inform DOJ, 'cause that's considered price-fixing.anonnymouse wrote:OP do NOT change subject line. How fast did the last jump in NYC spread to other major markets?

Along the same lines, how long did it take to spread to less preftigious firms? For instance, the NY firm I will be starting at has 200+ attorneys and pays 160K, but is not Vault ranked.barkschool wrote:How fast did the last jump in NYC spread to other major markets?

V10 plus a few select other firms (P, W) are confirmed moving to 190 scale. The rest of the V20 through V42 will be moving to 175 to try to remain relevant. Beyond that, almost all other V100 firms will remain at 160 scale but may try to give "true-up" bonuses each year, depending on PPP.BizBro wrote:Yea we wanna know if V50s will be matching, and how soon.
