Kilpatrick ding via snail mail.
Done, y'all. Will accept an offer tomorrow and bail on all other possibilities.
Best of luck to everyone!

Exact opposite experience re partners and associates -- but totally agree on the quietness. I noticed the modern Japanese style in the lobby. So maybe it's a Zen thing?Anonymous User wrote:The partners I met were extremely personable, the associates less so. Re: The OFFICIAL Fordham 2014 OCI Season
I know enough 3Ls that have told me they had to wait until Columbus Day or later for their ONE offer to believe that if you have a decent number of callbacks that went well, you have good odds. Some firms have school "quotas," and will have "spots" for schools (not as a rule, but in general practice) especially for the non-T14, so odds are even better for us "second choicers" when those Fordham kids with lots of offers let go of them.Anonymous User wrote:So... Do you think we will end up with anything?Anonymous User wrote:Yep. And have been told by some friends inside the firms that it's because "they like you, but they've got too many people sitting on offers."Anonymous User wrote:Anyone else on hold by every firm you had a cb with?

And I think firms are required by NALP to notify you of their decision either way, so if you haven't heard, they're still considering you. Those stock rejection letters/emails aren't hard to send.Anonymous User wrote:I know enough 3Ls that have told me they had to wait until Columbus Day or later for their ONE offer to believe that if you have a decent number of callbacks that went well, you have good odds. I really hope this is true because as of now I have to be setting some sort of record for striking out with my number of callbacks.

I know of at least one other person in the same position as me, but has anyone else heard post-cb from Troutman Sanders?

I had a screener with Cooper 2 weeks ago and still no word. I get the feeling their hiring isn't terribly organized, the guy ask me "soooo, you looking for a summer associate position or something?"Anonymous User wrote:Anyone hear back from Lerner David or Cooper Dunham?

I'm not sure if a request for more documents by Lerner David counts as hearing back?Anonymous User wrote:I had a screener with Cooper 2 weeks ago and still no word. Just finally got a ding from Bracewell. Still waiting on Fulbright & Jaworski and Bingham post-CB. As well as Mintz (but for a SA position in Boston). With these three firms I'm now @ a month post-CB--I've checked in with them and they all tell me I'm still under consideration, FWIW.
