Damn, sorry to hear that. The DC office is small but you're still a solid candidate...

If it makes anyone feel better, I mistakenly got an interview for NY in June. After I clarified I was interested in DC, NY apologized for the mistake and forwarded my materials to DC. I got a ding literally 20 minutes after that conversation.

I’ve been straight ghosted by Latham NY. Top ~30% M/V/P and sad about it
edit: also haven’t heard from Kirkland/Weil. Anyone else in the same boat? I really like these firms and it feels pretty shitty to not hear literally anything, especially knowing my GPA is there. Any insight appreciated.

Has anyone gotten a Cravath pre-OCI interview?
They dinged me, T20, top 5%
Without an interview? They don't come to your OCI then?
No interview at all and they do not! Told me to re-apply next year if still interested. I transferred to HYS so I'll just rebid at OCI (hadn't updated my app with the transfer)

Assuming you're talking about NY, unfortunately these three firms have made a ton of Pre-OCI offers. One of these firms in particular have made 10+ offers at my school already.

Cravath email saying to bid them at OCI last night. Top 5-10% at T14.
Also, MoFo screener --> callback.

Yeah, I know haha that’s why I’m bummed out. I have other offers at similar firms but have not heard anything from any of the ones I mentioned. Sucks, Latham is easily top 3 for me (big banking/cap markets guy). For Weil I’m way above their GPA range so idk what’s going on there

Sorry about you not hearing back! In my experience, both my CB at Latham and Kirkland came from sending my resume to an alum partner at the firm, I think that was helpful

STB offer - I'm one of those who posted upthread and was ghosted for a couple of weeks while people who interviewed on the same day were getting offers.
In other words: don't lose hope!
Did you express a preference for lit or transactional work?
Yes. All-in on transactional.
I'm convincing myself that this is why I have been completely ghosted from DPW and STB for three and two weeks respectively now. For what it's worth, my career services advisor is the one who gave me that idea in the first place. Those of us who have said we're lit-focused—all may not be lost.
Lit focused T-14er with an offer at DPW
Lit focused who just finished a CB with DPW. I'll let yall know how it goes.
Updating this, ding from DPW. I am getting slightly concerned, I get good feedback after interviews but so far I'm getting dings not offers.
Lit focused offer from DPW. There’s still hope for us lit people.

Any Covington DC movement? Asking as an SA.
Spoke with an associate who, although not 100% sure, said he thought they wouldn't move before OCI. FWIW.
