Anybody get an offer from Gibson DC yet?

Do I actually have to respond to offers (thru voicemail) at this point? Like an email to recruiting or to the partner who called to politely say thanks?

ETA: Did you get a generalist offer, or did you directly place into commercial bankruptcy / special situations?

No, don't do this, especially if it came from the generic head of group / recruiting, etc.

It came from a partner I interviewed with (that's why I feel kinda weird about not acknowledging it). So it's definitely ok to just not do anything? Ocs website is kinda vague

I'm sure it's "ok", and it's not like they can revoke your offer... But who could it hurt? If you hit it off with a partner and they want you to come work with them, I think they appreciate getting a little thank you and a show of excitement. I think it's kind of weird to get an email from someone who's hopefully excited for you to work with them and to not say anything in response.

Original anon here. Was staying away from the thread due to the initial reaction. I will be in PFG's firm, so bankruptcy. The other work is handled by the sister firm.
