Literally no reason to post this other than for bragging rights.

That said congrats, good luck, kick ass, and get some more CorLS repped at the big show. Remember the rule of Wachtell: the firm strives to balance work with life by giving you work equal to the time that you are alive.

How is that post any different than any other post on this thread? There will be other people wanting to know if CBs went out at that firm--similar to how some of us want to know about Cravath through Strooke. Calm yourself, man. Don't be that guy.

I literally congratulated and encouraged him/her right after. Was meant to be a joke cause lets face it, a CB at WLRK is basically the muttz nuttz of bragging rights.

Same here. I even sent a follow-up email on Monday August 17 but have not heard back anything. Planning on calling them on Monday for sure.

I would argue against calling if you have already sent an email. They know what they are doing, perhaps they are just busy.

I heard back from Jones Day last week from their LA office and desperately tried to schedule a CB before school started. However, nothing but silence since. They seem to be swamped right now so don't give up hope as it springs eternal.

I barely remember making that post, but I meant I assumed the person claiming a Wachtell CB was a troll. But I guess it is possible to get one from directly applying as opposed to "mysterious voicemail."

ETA: Nobody told me (until now) that Wachtell did a resume collect this year, which would explain the phone screeners, and would justify someone posting about a CB.

Same here. I'm pleasantly surprised. Other firms are extremely slow in that regard, considering that Dechert was one of the last firms I interviewed.
