Do you think the same thing applies to every NY firm? Early offers to strongest candidates with "wait lists" moving the week after?

How long do you reckon I should wait before giving up on a callback I had?

Just got the call today. I was told Thursday (when their committee meets), but then never heard so I shot an e-mail to the recruiter. Turns out my interviewing partner went out of town and forgot to call!

Does Latham D.C. email out the names of interviewers beforehand? Not clear from my correspondence with them.

I did a CB with a different Latham office and they made it a point to talk about how they don't give out interviewer names beforehand so that people aren't nervous about looking them up. So it might be intentional if that's a firm wide thing.

This suggests to me that firms do not release all their decisions at the same time for candidates that interview at the same time. I know of someone who got a GDC NY offer the same evening as their CB. I think this part of the process is way more unpredictable than the CB part.

Not sure why you're so confident that was a troll post. Are you aware that PFG has more money than most people on this thread will ever have? Did you know he paid the highest price ever in Chicago on a per square foot basis for unfinished residential space? Do you know his firm has 70 attorneys?
