Has anyone had the experience of not hearing anything from a firm post CB, not even a rejection notice?

It happens.

If the firm gave you a decision timeline, there's no harm in asking for an answer after the timeline has expired. Usually you get a response, but sometimes you don't. Unfortunately, even V-level firms let applicants fall through the cracks.

Received a couple of "still under active consideration" status updates this past week. CB a few weeks ago. OCI at MVP has been more positive, quicker, and gave better results. Maybe what that one poster said pages ago about PLIP being not very productive compared to OCI was accurate in many cases.

For people next year: CBs can come out looong after the fair. I've received two this week from west coast boutiques. Just because you don't hear right away doesn't mean you're out.
