Any CRT Finalists receive calls yet?

Is anyone else a finalist for ATR-SF? I know they had two spots but wasn't sure whether they'd use both or how many finalists they would pick.

Thank you for chiming in, was really starting to melt down over here thinking I'd be in finalist purgatory for weeks or something while all the DC people got answers.

No you're not missing anything. My references let me know when they contacted by someone from DOJ. They were contacted on November 8th and 9th.

One of my references is my judge and he just walked over to my office and told me that DOJ was calling my references and that it was a good sign. My other references did not tell me whether DOJ reached out to them or not, but the person who gave me my offer made it sound like all of my references were contacted. I sent my non-judge references emails thanking them profusely afterwards.

I was just designated a finalist. Was still "Selected for Interview" as of a few hours ago. (Not for EOIR).

It seems like there are three known offers. I'm trying to get a sense of where they are in the process.

also dying. this whole finalist designation thing doesn't seem to alleviate the problem of transparency if there are still internal hurdles that we don't see for making an offer.

I so wish there was a ranking system that we could see. Mostly so I'd know whether/when I need to start getting aggressive about finding other jobs.

I keep thinking that maybe one of my references hasn't replied or something. If they would just let me know, I could provide a new one, or whatever.
