Obviously it depends, but how many callbacks should one need to have a strong chance at an offer? I'm standing at 4/22 with about 12/22 outstanding (no one posted having a CB yet), 3/22 likely dings (people have posted CBs), and 3/22 confirmed dings.

I know people with 6 callbacks who struck out. I also know people who were 3/3. It depends a lot. Some firms have higher callback to offer ratio than others. But the general gist is that you should not be comfortable until you have an offer. If you need a perspective, check the callback to offer numbers for your firms from the eip report from last year.

anyone have their interviewer call and leave a voicemail, but tell you to call them back without officially inviting you for a callback? what has happened when you called them back? do some firms just have a policy of giving you a callback when you're live on the phone?
