I got a Proskauer ding email (HR) this morning, but it was before I woke up. Does that count?

It has been a week since EIW but it seems that some firms haven't made decisions yet, at least nobody here has posted about it. Really hoping that there are a few more callbacks coming.

DPW offer today after an interview monday. I just cancelled a bunch of interviews (Milbank, white & Case, Paul Hastings, etc); hopefully that helps some people out!

Ding at Simpson Thacher yesterday. Kind of surprised since I'd gotten CBs at all the peer institutions and I thought the interview went fairly well.

Has there been any movement on Cleary since some offers went out on Wednesday for people who had CBs on Monday and Tuesday? I'm scared my rejection is in the mail...

Some perspective: unlike most of her classmates, Sonia Sotomayor (Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States), after graduating summa cum laude from Princeton, going to Yale Law, and being on the Yale Law Journal, did NOT receive an offer (you know, the offers that you almost always get unless you blow up a partner) after her 2L summer at Paul Weiss. See Adam Liptak, Washington Is Home (for Now at Least), but Sotomayor Stays True to New York, N.Y. TIMES, Jan. 14, 2013, at A13, available at http://www.nytimes.com/2013/01/14/us/po ... .html?_r=1& (describing how much it sucked being no-offered).

I appreciate your optimism but cmon. you can't seriously expect anyone to delude themselves into thinking they will be as lucky as Sotomayor especially in this day and age.

Also, ding from Prokauser as well.

I don't think people need to worry about Cleary just yet - even though I don't have any idea about how they work - I don't think they would have spent money on a call-back reception where they invited everyone if they knew they already had people slated to be rejected.

I think people who haven't heard back will be evaluated with the next batch of people who have been interviewing yesterday and today, etc.

Dings from Holland and Knight and Akin Gump (SG) last night and woke up to a ding from Allen Overy this morning. EIW hopes are slowly bleeding out.

Has anybody gone on a Boies callback yet? Trying to gauge success rates and also response time afterward.

To contribute to the info, I am also waiting to hear from Latham. No email or snail mail communication yet.

About the Proskauer ding, was it after CB or a screener? I had CB with them Tuesday and was told hiring committee would meet on Friday. It has been radio silence so far. Their folks are truly nice and if I lost it I only have myself to blame. They somehow inserted a fifth interviewer on the fly and I was very tired toward the end.
