To the people who have accepted doj positions so far- how does it feel to go to doj run by an explicit racist and sexist? Seriously question. I can imagine the next four years is gonna be extensive hunting for immigrants and doing everything they can to destroy state legalized weed.

As an attorney for the DOJ (especially at such a low level), your job is to enforce the letter of the law as it is written. Based on your post, you would probably be better served in an immigration or marijuana advocacy group. There is a simple option for those that do not agree with whatever direction the DOJ is headed, quit.

I think it's just going to be a personal decision about whether to work under Trump/Sessions. The government still needs good people so I don't think the only moral course is not to work there. But I understand if someone feels that is their only choice.

Depends what component you're talking about. If it's EOIR - OCIJ seems like there is still reason to hope because of the slow process.
