Take the envelope, which I assume was date-stamped a couple of days ago, into OCI. Just not professional nor in the spirit of NULS' OCI.

and cahills ding by snail mail couldnt have been arranged before because i signed up for cahill today. i interviewed at 1, so i guess its possible they decided to mail me right after.

i knew the place wouldnt be a great fit, and not bummed about the ding, just surprised at the speed of it

There is just no way it got there same day via USPS. Are you sure that you didn't mass mail them?

That's not possible. Unless the pple drove the letter to your place and put it in your mailbox, no friggin way...
