It only really makes sense if they have a hold pile and are only giving offers to people to a subset of those who will eventually make the cut.

You didn't list which firms got back to you, your GPA, or anything that would help ANYONE. All you did was flaunt how great you are doing. There's 500 people at this school. Giving even a little isn't going to "out" you, and even if it did, it seems like it'd only be people who know you closely anyways. Congratulations, asshole.

the thing that really sucks is getting rejected by people you liked. it feels like getting rejected from clubs in middle school.

and within minutes of picking up the mail, another e-mail rejection from Jones Day KR.

Hi all. Spoke to a recruiter at PW tonight. Apparently the hiring team meets on Thursday and Monday evenings. That means that if you interviewed this afternoon or earlier that you'll probably hear tonight or tomorrow and if you interviewed tonight (are are interviewing tomorrow or Monday morning) then you'll probably hear Monday night or Tuesday.
