There's a huge cartoon-mouse-shaped reason why tons of Americans visit Orlando.
Orlando is fine. NYC is fine. If you love one, you're probably not going to love the other. No idea why the housing debate has to take over this thread as well as threads actually about housing.

It's taking over because one poster is consistently derailing these threads.nixy wrote: ↑Wed Jul 13, 2022 2:18 pmThere's a huge cartoon-mouse-shaped reason why tons of Americans visit Orlando.

I said my piece and then shut my trap until someone mentioned me. Please read back half a dozen posts.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Jul 13, 2022 2:38 pmIt's taking over because one poster is consistently derailing these threads.nixy wrote: ↑Wed Jul 13, 2022 2:18 pmThere's a huge cartoon-mouse-shaped reason why tons of Americans visit Orlando.

John Dooley, what is your point in this thread with these posts? We get it, your a die hard Magic fan who lives in the city where the magic play. Your medical malpractice practice doesn’t really relate to in-house roles. Also, if your face is on a billboard why won’t you share it on TLS? No one here is going to SWAT your firm, we just don’t really understand what angle you have here.

I read the whole thread and don’t get your piece. You do medical malpractice not corporate work. You don’t really have anything useful to share here right? Just that Orlando is awesome, your cost of living is low and you love suing doctors for “preventable” incidents.johndooley wrote: ↑Wed Jul 13, 2022 2:51 pmI said my piece and then shut my trap until someone mentioned me. To be fair, I did contribute my thoughts on the profession and corporate/in-house based on people I know in those areas. Other people brought in my biography based on another thread. I will try to head off those distractions if they happen again. I did not think my biography from other posts would elicit so many comments in this thread in particular.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Jul 13, 2022 3:50 pmJohn Dooley, what is your point in this thread with these posts? I do not dox myself on any online boards. It is not a good look no matter how mature and thoughtful you are and I do care about my professional reputation.

I began it with posts about corporate and in-house positions based on people I know in those areas. I did not post about myself until others did. If you are implying there are no "preventable" incidents worthy of a lawsuit on behalf of a client please PM me, that is a crummy take to have and demeaning of really impactful work some medmal attorneys are engaged in.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Jul 13, 2022 3:52 pmI read the whole thread and don’t get your piece. You consider a bunch of insults to be "posts about corporate and in-house positions based on people [you] know in those areas"?johndooley wrote: ↑Tue Jul 12, 2022 11:15 amWhat else did you expect? You're not making the company money in a coding or sales role. You didn't have the guts to build up your own law practice or business so this is the low stakes low to mid six-figure role you signed up for. It probably won't vary much until your retirement.
I feel bad for your clients if your memory is this bad.

"Is being in-house really just doing a bunch of circle jerk meetings all day w/ everyone doing cringey corporate-speak?" does not exactly invite a soft touch. So no, I do not consider them insults rather than a characterization of corporate/in-house work. You should always feel bad for my clients, they are more often than not in poor health.thisismytlsuername wrote: ↑Wed Jul 13, 2022 4:21 pmYou consider a bunch of insults to be "posts about corporate and in-house positions based on people [you] know in those areas"?johndooley wrote: ↑Tue Jul 12, 2022 11:15 amWhat else did you expect? Derailing in another direction. Does anyone work in-house at TikTok? Is it 996, like most business teams appear to be?
