Has anyone got an offer from TIP? Either law firms or accounting firms?

I know some offers have been given out from TIP interviews but I spoke with career services yesterday and they said that they expect the majority of employers are going to take a little longer than usual to make decisions with everything else going on. Not worried about the amount of offers and what not but just that it will probably take a little longer for most firms.

Do you know which firms have given the offers? The current condition makes everything a mess :?

I have not heard of any. Proskauer is the only firm that I know that has offered, and that was through NYU OCI's, not TIP.
Do you know what position and what office this is and whether the offeree has accepted? I did a CB with Proskauer and am wondering why they have neither offered or rejected me.

Did you by chance accept an offer already?

I’m the anon who received an offer through NYU symplicity/OCI. I accepted my offer (not Proskauer). I responded to 2 law firms and 2 big4 firms saying that I will not be interviewing. I hope it will open up some interviews for others! As to a question regarding exec comp, I honestly got interested in the practice because of the job opportunities. However, as I learned more about the practice, I really like the inter-disciplinary aspect of the practice. Good luck to all!! I also agree with the comment about Corona making the whole process run slower

NO - which is why I am curious to see if I still have a shot with this firm

I would follow up. I think that all offers and dingers have gone out for Proskauer. I know they have hired 4—2 general tax and 2 ECEB.

I hate to say this, but I was MUCH more success through NYU's Symplicity postings than anything at TIP. I have now accepted an offer and am getting dingers from less prestigious firms from TIP. I also thought that some of the interviewers were VERY unimpressive, particularly the Jones Day interviewers.

I did approximately 10 interviews through NYU and got 9 callbacks. The only big law callbacks I got from TIP were Greenberg and Paul Weiss. I declined both because of the offer I accepted.

If you don't have an offer you intend to accept yet, you need to start looking. If past years were any guide, second tier employers should be putting their listings up on Symplicity right about now.

It might be a little different than past years due to changes of circumstances. From my understanding not that many people that traditionally have given offers by now have done so. Except big law and some nyc big 4 groups

I know someone who accepted an ECEB position in Proskauer's DC office. That person accepted before TIP, so you might want to reach out

I sent out emails withdrawing my candidacy very recently because I accepted a job in Florida. I was surprised to learn that a west coast firm that interviewed me about two months ago (screener) was still considering me for employment. They told me they were very disappointed that I withdrew my candidacy and were experiencing problems with their process. What gives? Why didn't they setup a callback?

I received an offer from Paul, Weiss yesterday. I think some other BigLaw firms have extended offers, but I think the majority of employers (big 4 included) have yet to make decisions given the circumstances

I would talk to career services. They seem to be in contact with some of the firms.

I've heard nothing by now. it pretty much means it's over and i should start looking elsewhere right? Do employers always send out rejection letters at least?

Did anyone receive offers from Big 4 regional and national yet?

How many big4 firms did you interview with? Most of my classmates got callback except for me.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
