Based on past years acceptances usually go out on Sundays. Rejection emails sent the next morning.

Honestly, I have no reason to believe calls went out yesterday. I talked to a number of people yesterday and no one heard anything about anyone getting called. And I haven't received a rejection email yet so...

I am inclined to agree. I think it's totally possible that 1 or 2 people falsely anonymously posted that invites were going out. It's totally possible that they did, but I can't seem to find anyone to confirm that and rejection letters have not been sent. If 48 people were invited, you would think a greater confirmation would exist. Perhaps mods could check to see if the anons who posted that are new accounts or the same person?

I also got a call from MLR, last night around 5:45. I know of 4 other people who have received phone calls. It seems like multiple people are making the calls, at varying times depending on their work schedules. The person I spoke to said both the official acceptance and rejection emails would be going out early next week.

I did not know that was a thing. Mine just says I was rejected and they encourage me to pursue the write-on process.
