some of the mid-law, or perhaps small laws told me to apply again in winter, guess they are not playing the summer gig game. OP can you specify the kind of mid-law you are talking about? The breadth of mid-size is notoriously large.
also, are you working at the mid-law's HQ office or smaller ones?

Sorry to hear that. But if you were fired recently, it looks like you got around 3 years making big-law salary and only billing 1400 hours. That's a win in my book.Anonymous User wrote:Update: OP here. Was laid off.

Making it 4 years billing ~1400/year is not bad at all. That plenty seniority to move in-house anyway, right?

Sorry to hear it.
Despite the way it ended, did you like the experience at the firm? Did you see it coming? Would you have done anything differently that may have avoided this outcome?

Not sure what I could have done differently. I asked for work whenever I wasn't busy there just didn't seem to be enough to go around.jhett wrote:Sorry to hear it.

What would you say was the average billable hours of your peer associates? And how far below were you from the average?Anonymous User wrote:Not sure what I could have done differently. Sorry OP, I am sure with three years of experience, you will be marketable and will land on your feet.
