Pretty interesting how not a single person in this thread has actually engaged any substantive policy proposals of Trump's. All the posts are either ad hominem attacks or ginned-up outrage that I'm using the term 'illegal' to describe illegal aliens.

You misunderstand the term "ad hominem." Ad hominem is a logical fallacy where one attacks an argument by attacking the person making it. The whole point here is that it would be a bad idea to include anything Trump-related on your resume because people perceive Trump to be an idiot. Regardless of whether that belief is well-founded, many people in the legal world hold it, and it could hurt you to put Trump on your resume because of what people would think about you.

But you're obviously a troll. Can the mods please out this guy for abusing anon?

- not losing my job to an america-hating immigrant who I have to train to be my replacement
- not being shot randomly on the street by an illegal alien felon who should have been deported
- not having to pay the local government to police slums filled with illegals
- not having social services/education drained by illegals
- fewer prisons overflowing with illegals
- not signing trade deals with other countries that only benefit the rich and screw american workers

I do like the paranoia though. Not sure how many law firms are in the business of hiring illegal immigrants as attorneys. It's fun to imagine the managing partner of a big law office pulling up to a home depot in his F-150 looking for some cheap labor. "I need 3 to help defend ABC Co. in a wage and hour class action suit! I'm paying $20 a day. Don't worry about training, we got some nutjob off the Trump campaign who'll train you up, then you can take his job."
