Had ftc cb two mondays ago. No news. Recruitment said theyd notify in event of hold offer or reject after bi weekly hiring meeting. But the ftc just filled a pretty big suit this week. If directors were just not meeting i wouldn't be suprised

I applied to CFPB and HUD also. Haven't heard from either. But I just checked last years thread for HUD and it seems that people starting to get calls for initial interviews around November 6.

Last year CFPB interviewed Nov-Dec and offered in Late-Jan. They appear to be keeping the same schedule.eas09d wrote:I applied to CFPB and HUD also. Haven't heard from either. I had a CFPB Office of Enforcement phone interview. They said each office w/in CFPB schedules interviews on its own, so it seems like other offices could be in different stages. But in-person interviews would be happening somewhere in the few weeks to a few months range - they're apparently early in the phone interviewing process. Apparently the hopes are to make offers in late November.

Thanks for sharing this. By chance, did you get the sense the Office of Enforcement has scheduled all first-round interviews by now? Or might there be a glimmer of hope for the rest of us interested in enforcement?Anonymous User wrote:I had a CFPB Office of Enforcement phone interview. Most recent anon here. I'm not very sure whether CFPB Office of Enforcement has already scheduled phone interviews with everyone they want to talk to yet. They did say that they're "early" in the phone interviewing process, so it's certainly possible they hadn't yet contacted people that they still plan to talk to. So there may still be hope!

Have an interview with Supervision at CFPB. My understanding is that interviews for first choice candidates are going out / have gone out, and that CFPB will schedule additional candidates if necessary, at least as far as Enforcement and Supervision go.

This is me, and from this thread I think there's two of us waiting (hi bud!). I'm guessing they're checking references, and that the hiring committee w/their stated bi weekly meetings is just not considering until references are checked. Maybe also preliminary background checks, etc. No news is ceratinly good news!Anonymous User wrote:any news at all re ftc antitrust?

FDIC interview in DC this week. No decision timetable and didn't ask how many candidates or anything like that, but just letting you know that the process is underway.

FWIW, had a phone interview with CFPB Legal Division. Turns out Legal has 3 sub-groups, Law & Policy, Ethics & Oversight, and a litigation group, and apparently only law & policy is hiring honors attorney positions. Timeline is the same as for Enforcement, etc, in that they would do in-person interviews sometime end of this month or early next month, and hopefully notifications end of November to keep in line with DOJ hiring.
