Roughly the same. Waitlist or slow year, maybe? Any movement on Kirkland or Latham SF?

Latham sends dings via snail mail so check your mail box. Kirkland sent out rejections as well. You might be on the waitlist.Anonymous User wrote:Roughly the same. Waitlist or slow year, maybe? Any movement on Kirkland or Latham SF?

I'm not the anon quoted above. If he/she is a transfer or not, we're all Boalties so there's really no need to get snarky.Anonymous User wrote:You sound like a transfer. Some Boalties have none or only one.
Anyways, some firms will take longer than others to get back to you. Some people have heard back sooner than others. A great resource to learn about this is via the anonymous posting on TLS. I think it's important that everyone remember that callbacks/offers, etc. are a sensitive topic and, when at school or otherwise physically around classmates, you should not discuss your situation publicly. However, TLS should be fair game to learn more about this process. We're all new to the EIW/callback/offer process so let's help one another out.
I have heard back (+ or -) from a little over half of the firms I interviewed with. There's still several outstanding. I've seen anecdotal reports of CBs being received weeks after EIW ended. Don't give up hope until you receive a ding. Focus your energy right now on mass mailing until you have an offer.

Yeah definitely agree. Callbacks and offers are sensitive topics. Unfortunately, the system is such that it creates winners and losers in every step of the law school process. And I can see why some Boalties can be a bit annoyed that there were so many transfers at EIW.

Our thread is so quiet compared to all the other schools...
Are there still people with no callbacks yet? Have you been in to see a CDO counselor? Started mass-mailing? Prepared for FIP?

Anyone have any idea what the average callback to offer timeline is usually? Also any good resources to find callback to offer ratios for firms?

Re: Boalt OCI 2015 (C/O 2017)
I think it depends on the firm. Firm on Friday told me before my callback got started that they would be in touch in a week. I'd ask recruiters when you meet them if they can give you a time frame.

Sorry to hear that!=\ are there other firms from OCI you're waiting to hear back from? Only advice I can give you is to mass mail and sign up for FIP interviews.Anonymous User wrote:Got my first ding after a callback interview....feeling really down!! that's the only one I had. One thing that I found helpful and I would recommend is to look at this book (I believe CDO has a copy in their office):

No callbacks yet. I know several people in the same boat with no current offers. Mass mailing like crazy.
