Don't wear a tie on day one. Be better than that.
So bowtie, or notie?
A bow tie tie should not be worn without a tux.
Brooks Brothers extra slim shirt, top two buttons undone, white v-neck underneath (don't wear a crew neck). No tie. No bow tie. No bolo tie.
What if our bountiful chest hair or just overall fatness doesn't allow for such a get up? What then?
Am I headed for a no offer? Or will I just be put on the non-partnership tract?

BigZuck, I assure you that my chest hair is more bountiful. You must just be fat--you should start lifting.

Shit, I bought Charles Tyrwitt, but I did get extra slim. No offer, or just on thin ice?

Charles tyrwitt extra slim is just slim. It's pretty good quality for the money but don't expect to be blown away.

My brother actually ran into this problem with them, but heard that they had slimmed their cuts. Ordered another and he saw a big difference. Didn't even need tailoring.
I also did a try-on before ordering, and they're pretty slim. I was happy with the fit.

Yes, but all the tailors near me charge $30 for tailoring the sides, and $25 for sleeves. Its brutal.

Precisely.

Kind of curious to see if there are other TLS'ers at my firm but not enough to want any of us outing ourselves.
Any recommended strategies or is this just creepy?
