1) V50
2) 152
3) T40 --> CCN Transfer

I don't think good UG grades really correlate to good law school grades. I think learning how to write good law school exam answers and not freak out or get overly stressed during 1L is a better indicator of success.

Just from the people I know, undergrad gpa correlated more with law school gpa than LSAT did
This is correct IME. Most of the law review kids and other top grades kids were the ones that you're 99.9% sure have been nerd shut ins studying 24/7 their entire life

Most splitters were lazy in college, and tend not to make a 180 in LS. I sure as hell didn't. However, the splitters are still intelligent enough to land somewhere around median even without studying.

I should disclose this was at a school where pretty much everyone felt secure in a positive outcome. Might be different at a school where the situation is more dire
Lol I got plastered 4 nights a week in college, got a 4.0. Did something similar in law school, but not that extreme. Top 10% at t14. 165/163 on the LSAT, V5 firm. There is just something about knowing how to get top grades. I don't know what it is but whatever it is it definetely translates (at least it did for me and other people I knew) to law school

Good pull, congrats. And I thought I was good looking. What was your strategy besides smiling?

Are most of the people here current second year law students? My impression is the market had a great quarter over the summer, so that hiring might have been less competitive this year?

This thread = a compilation of the job outcomes of all the special snowflakes on TLS.

Kids considering NYLS and Indiana Tech are going to come across this thread in a Google search and be like, "Sweet! As long as I try hard in law school, I'm set!!!" Other than encouraging people who probably shouldn't go to law school to go to law school, I am not sure what purpose this thread is serving.

Elston Gunn wrote:What even is this thread? You know there are, like, genuine studies of how well LSAT scores predict law school grades, right? (Answer: better than other standardized tests, but not enough to predict much about any individual at any given school.)

Unless you have some theory that an LSAT score somehow gets you a job even if your grades are bad, I'm very confused.
I think it's a social experiment that appears to be working brilliantly

Yeah, the people who post in a thread like this are much less likely to be unemployed or to have left law altogether, even though a significant number of law grads fall into these categories.
