last year they started flooding in the first week of October. I was pretty surprised that they LAS dings came this early!

Especially since they came on a Saturday. I wonder what they did to be able to efficiently weed through all of the apps quickly.

Not to be cocky, but I thought I'd at least get an interview. Fluent in Spanish, children's rights internships/WE and what I thought was a passionate cover letter. I guess not.

On the bright side, I applied to them on my school's public interest OCI and have not heard a peep yet, so fingers crossed they see something in me this time around!

You do sound cocky. I am sure most of us have some pretty unique and special talents that we believe would make us competitive but don't necessarily want to post them for outting purposes. It sucks but it might be time re evaluate your expectations. I know I had to do the same this week.

oh, yeah. i am awaiting a veritable bloodbath this week. i applied to all the PD offices but have little crim experience, so i would be shocked to get an interview.

This is my first time doing EJW... do dings come via email? What about if you are invited to interview - do they email to let you know to go on and schedule an interview?

my ding came via email and text, and my acceptance from last year came via email and text message too.

BTW, if any 2Ls are interested in Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network, PM me, as I interviewed with them last year.

I have only gotten a ding so I assume so. It's a bit misleading because even though it was a ding the subject was "Interview Selection 2013 Conference and Career Fair" pretty fucked up wording if you ask me.

I applied to LAS JRP back in the day and they dinged me too. As others have said, not indicative of the luck you will have elsewhere!

Pre-selected for State of Alaska - Office of Public Advocacy, did anyone else apply? No notice given, was just there when I checked my activity on the website. Does anyone know how many people some of these offices historically take from the fair? I don't really see how Alaska offices could do call-backs like OCI.
